Why Angel Joy Flores Is the Creator You’ve Been Waiting For

Angel Joy Flores is a consummate professional and a joy to work with, but beyond that, she gets results. Here’s why Angel is the content creator you’ve been waiting for.

A popular post from @arkangeljoy (Angel Joy Flores) on Instagram. It has a ton of engagement and tens of thousands of likes.

In an industry full of noise, Angel Joy Flores is the real deal.

A queer, trans, and polyamorous creator based in Seattle, Angel is more than just a bright personality on your feed—she’s a movement in motion. Whether she’s building community on TikTok, streaming with authenticity on Twitch, or sharing deeply personal insights on Instagram, Angel isn’t just showing up—she’s leading the way.

And if you’re a brand looking to do more than tick the rainbow box during Pride Month? You’ll want to work with her. Here’s why.

She’s Got the Numbers—And the Engagement

Angel has spent the past year growing a dynamic and loyal audience across platforms. With a following that’s not only large but deeply engaged, she boasts consistently high save rates, story views, and comment volumes. Her posts aren’t just being liked—they’re being shared, saved, and talked about. That’s the kind of creator every brand dreams of partnering with.

She’s also one of the rare creators who sees growth across multiple formats: TikToks, carousels, reels, streams, and long-form content. Her audience follows her because they trust her voice on any platform she shows up on.

Her Voice Is Unmistakably Genuine

Angel doesn’t play a character online. She’s not trying to fit a mold or perform queerness for the algorithm. Her content is raw, joyful, vulnerable, hilarious, and fiercely honest—often all in the same post.

This authenticity is her superpower. Her audience knows when she speaks, it’s real. When she shares a product, a story, or a life update, her followers listen. That trust is what makes her such an effective—and ethical—partner for the brands she aligns with.

Queer Joy, On Purpose

Angel’s feed radiates queer joy—and not the watered-down, corporate-friendly kind. It’s bold. It’s nuanced. It’s celebratory and rebellious. Her posts remind queer and trans people that they deserve to take up space, to live loudly, and to experience real happiness.

That joy is contagious—and powerful. When Angel shares content, it uplifts her community and builds genuine emotional resonance. It’s a reminder that joy itself is a form of activism.

She’s A Writer, Too

Angel’s captions read like mini essays. Her stories? Compelling narratives that make you feel seen. She doesn’t just post—she communicates. For brands, that means campaigns that don’t feel like ads, but like conversations. For audiences, it means content that lingers long after the scroll.

A Total Professional

Here’s the part you don’t always see on the feed: Angel is a dream to work with. She hits her deadlines, communicates clearly, brings fresh ideas to the table, and knows how to collaborate. She’s not just a content creator—she’s a creative partner who’s ready to get your campaign live and make it resonate.

Meet Sophie!

Sophie (S.B.) Edwards is a Canadian writer, historian, and voice feminization coach.

She’s the host of We Have Always Existed, a video essay series that explores the rich history of transgender people in the ancient Mediterranean and Near East. If you’re unfamiliar with transgender ancient history, Sophie’s work will be an excellent introduction to the 10,000+ years of recorded history that includes trans folks.

Sophie is a transgender woman who lives in Toronto, Ontario, with her girlfriend and their five cats, Bean, Ella, Midna, Charlie, and Cinder.

Lavender Menace Talent is proud to showcase our newest client: Sophie Edwards!

We’re delighted to welcome Sophie Edwards to Lavender Menace Talent Management. Sophie is a Toronto-based trans woman, writer, historian, and voice coach. She hosts "We Have Always Existed," a video essay series that illuminates transgender history in the ancient Mediterranean and Near East. A masterful storyteller, Sophie is helping to dispel the myth that being trans is a recent trend or a symptom of being “woke" by reminding viewers that trans people have existed throughout history. Not only have we always existed, but we have even thrived in cultures across the globe. Sophie is also an accomplished writer, with many nonfiction credits to her name, as well as her debut novel, “The Bottom Line,” a solarpunk tale set in a near-future Toronto, released in December 2024.

Lost Rituals of Trans Priestesses From 2000 Years Ago | Ancient Transgender History

Sophie’s writing expertise is manifested across many ghostwritten articles across a wide array of disciplines and diverse industries, and she brings both academic rigor and heartfelt advocacy to all of her work. She runs a YouTube channel, We Have Always Existed, which focuses on trans people in history, reaching tens of thousands of viewers regularly. Sophie also professionally coaches trans women in voice feminization, drawing on her own experience of transition to create a practice that is both compassionate and intuitive.

Her growing influence, celebrated through literary, scholarly, and 2SLGBTQIA+ historical programming, makes Sophie an inspiring voice for narrative storytelling, putting ourselves in historical context, and social impact within and beyond the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Her message is more important now than ever: trans people have always existed, have historically enjoyed a valued and respected place in society, and deserve the same human rights everyone else enjoys. We have always existed, and will continue to exist for as long as humanity remains on Earth. Additionally, her commitment to supporting trans women in meeting their gender-affirming voice feminization goals is unwavering, and her impact on the students who learn from her cannot be overstated. Lavender Menace Talent Management is proud to support Sophie as she continues to educate, inspire, and uplift.

Sophie is open to taking on new vocal coaching clients, collaborating with other LGBTQ+ creators, and sponsored content with values-aligned brands.

If you’re interested in working with Sophie in any capacity, please contact Rowan at Lavender Menace Talent to discuss availability and opportunities.

What’s next for Sophie? She’s hoping to grow her audience of trans historians to reach more people who need to see themselves reflected in times gone by. She hopes to spread awareness of the deep and storied history that trans people have in cultures across the globe, in stark contrast to the harsh criticism and social upheaval related to trans rights in the Western Hemisphere right now. She is actively seeking collaborations with other 2SLGBTQIA+ creators, especially in the trans history and social/cultural awareness space. Sophie is also seeking voice feminization clients who are interested in expanding their range and approaching their voice goals in a practical, well-rounded way that’s grounded in personal experience.

If you’re interested in collaborating with Sophie across social media or would like additional information about her voice coaching practice, please contact Rowan at Lavender Menace Talent Management.

What Comes Next, and What to Expect from This Space

How I plan to use this space, and what you can expect to find here.

Welcome to the Lavender Menace Blog: Loud, Proud, and Just Getting Started

We’re not here to whisper. We’re here to make noise.

Welcome to the official blog of Lavender Menace Talent—a space for opinionated queers, fiercely talented creators, and the brands who actually get it. If you’re looking for polished PR platitudes or vague influencer inspo, you might want to hit the back button. But if you’re craving real talk, sharp insights, righteous joy, and a front-row seat to the revolution that is queer creative media, pull up a chair.

What to Expect (and Why You’ll Want to Stick Around)

This blog will be part pulse check, part megaphone. We’ll dive into:

  • Industry insights from the queer creator economy—what’s working, what’s broken, and what’s next

  • Trend forecasting with a side of attitude

  • Opinion pieces that challenge the norms and shake the table

  • Creator stories that spotlight the people changing the game

  • Political commentary where needed—because nothing about our joy is apolitical

Whether you're a queer or trans content creator looking to grow your brand, a marketer tired of cookie-cutter campaigns, or just someone who knows the future is inclusive and creative, we're writing this for you.

Our Voice Is Loud on Purpose

The world doesn't need more neutrality. It needs bold, visionary, unapologetically queer voices at the forefront. Lavender Menace Talent exists to champion those voices—and this blog will be our open letter to the industry, to our community, and to anyone who still thinks marketing to LGBTQIA2S+ audiences is a niche move (spoiler: it’s not).

Come With Us

We’re just getting started. The creators we represent are shifting culture in real time. The brands we work with are ready to do the work. And this space? It’s going to be a wild, colorful, powerful ride.

Stay tuned. Speak up. And let’s make some beautifully disruptive media together.
